Rule 2.9 Announcement - Transaction in own shares

Allied Minds plc (AIM: ALM, 'Allied Minds' or 'the Company') announces that, in accordance with the terms of its share buyback programme announced on 17 November 2022 ("Share Buyback Programme"), the Company purchased the following number of its Ordinary Shares of £0.01 each ("Ordinary Shares") through Numis Securities Limited. The Ordinary Shares purchased will be held in treasury until transferred by the Company to the directors and employees in satisfaction of awards under the 2014 Long Term Incentive Plan ("LTIP").

In accordance with Rule 2.9 of The City Code on Takeovers and Mergers, Allied Minds confirms that, as at the date and time of this announcement, the remaining number of Ordinary Shares in issue will be 238,266,961 (excluding treasury shares), and the Company hold 1,383,312 Ordinary Shares in treasury. Therefore, the total voting rights in the Company will be 238,266,961. This figure for the total number of voting rights may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the Company under the FCA's Disclosure Guidance and Transparency Rules.
